Describe the character's house/home: Kat doesn't have a home of her own. She jumps around from place to place. Currently residing in an old abandoned building on the edge of town near the woods. It's not perfect but it's better than sleeping under a freeway.

Kat was left at a churches doorstep as a baby. The orphanage run by the church took her in until a young age. She was a handful, and as soon as she was a bit older, she was relinquished to the foster care system.
She went through several foster homes, none that she meshed with well if at all. By her teenage years she dropped out of school and ran away. This began her life living on her own. At first it wasn't easy but she quickly learned how to pickpocket. Stealing cash, cards, wallets, phones, electronics... Anything she could use for food money or to pawn off for cash. This is what kept food in her stomach.
For a short while she attempted to live in homeless camps with others. She learned she couldn't trust anyone and soon defected to be on her own once again. She went through a depressive state and began to self harm to relieve that depression and often believed that maybe she shouldn't live any longer. Still, she forced herself to continue on another day. This was when she began to write.
She has a lot of fear of just being left behind and takes plenty of caution when getting to know others. Her guard is up near constantly. But she keeps herself prepared for whatever comes her way. The world is unpredictable and things have been difficult but she hopes that things will become easier one day. Even dreaming of one day being able to write a full book filled with horror stories.

  • Kat listens to a LOT of different music. But the only time she listens to 'party music' is when she's actually drinking (Think the vibes of like, Shots by LMFAO)

  • When she has her own space/room to decorate, it ends up covered in polaroids of her and people she cares about or places that inspire her to write.

  • If it's not obvious, her favorite books are Goosebumps. Though, she does like a lot of different horror books.

  • While she often doesn't have her own phone, she's good at hacking passwords. Since she's always stolen phones to pawn off for cash.

  • She's an expert lock picker. You cannot lock her out of anything. If she wants to get into something- she will.

  • Her original plot had her only invited to live at the mansion because she impressed Slender a little... by stealing Masky's knife without him realizing it- And that perfectly encapsulates her sleight of hand.

  • Despite her ability to steal/hack in to phones/pick locks/ect... Friends and lovers will get the utmost privacy. She doesn't usually condone invading loved ones privacy unless given a very serious reason to do so.

  • Kat doesn't KNOW her exact age. Or her real birthday for that matter. She knows she's in her early to mid 20s but because of her upbringing being so unstable she doesn't really know for sure. Plus she doesn't celebrate her birthday anyway

  • Kat didn't have much of a childhood. The first thing she ever stole was a bag of gummies because she wasn't supposed to have candy at her foster home. To this day, gummies always cheer her up. Which is why she uses them to cheer others up too.
